(“Affluency”) is fully committed to protecting the privacy interests of individuals who provide confidential information to Affluency by visiting MyAffluency.com website and/or using our services.

 

This Privacy Policy applies to MyAffluency.com website only and does not apply to other websites to which we may link. By visiting, registering to or using the MyAffluency.com website you agree to the practices and policies set forth in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby acknowledge and consent to our collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. We only collect your personal information to conduct our business and to enable us to deliver and improve our services. We do not for any reason whatsoever sell or share your personal data to any third party or otherwise trade on it.

 

3. We do everything we reasonably can to protect your rights of privacy on systems and the Website controlled by us, but we are not liable for any unauthorised or unlawful disclosures of your personal and confidential information made by third parties who are not subject to our control.

 

4. Affluency may from time to time update this Privacy Policy to ensure compliance and consistency with any future developments or changes in legal or regulatory requirements. By continuing to engage Affluency’s services, to use MyAffluency.com website or communicate with Affluency subsequent to any updates, you agree to be bound by the updates to this Privacy Policy.

“Personal Data” refers to any data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which the organisation has or is likely to have access. This includes data and information in Affluency’s records as may be updated from time to time.

 

Some examples of “Personal Data” you may provide to use may include your name and surname, passport, NRIC or other identification numbers, telephone numbers, mailing and email addresses, network data and any other information relating to any individuals which you may have provided to Affluency or documents and/or via other forms of interaction with you.

 

 

What we collect

When you visit or register on MyAffluency.com website, when you interact with employees of Affluency via telephone calls, letters, facsimile, face-to-face meetings and other electronic means, we collect some information about you, to complete your profile and eventually fulfil your orders. This may include some or all of the following:

 

1. Information about your personal identity such as name and surname, gender, marital status, age, preferences, likes and dislikes etc.

 

2. Your contact details such as your billing addresses, delivery addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail etc.

In the case you register with Facebook or Google (if so opted by you) (a) publicly available information of you, likes and dislikes, etc. (b) Payment and Account Information: Your account history with us including (without limitation) all billing information and communications, payment history etc. We maintain this in encrypted form on secure servers. (e) Transactional Information: Transaction history (other than banking details) about your e-commerce activities. (f) Correspondence Information: Content, information about your correspondents, and the destination/origin of communications between you and any other person using our Services, which include email communications, blog, chat room and discussion board communications, instant message communications, experts forum communications, fax and mail communications, membership of mailing lists etc. (g)User IDs: Your usernames, passwords, email addresses and other security-related information used by you in relation to our Services. If you provide Affluency with any Personal Data relating to a third party (e.g. information on your spouse, children, parents, and/or employees), you represent to Affluency that you have obtained the necessary consent of such third party to you providing Affluency with their Personal Data for the respective purposes. You should ensure that all Personal Data is complete, accurate, true and correct.

 

 

Do we use “cookies”?

Yes. While Affluency strives to protect your Personal Data, Affluency cannot completely guarantee the security of the information transmitted to Affluency as no data security measures can guarantee 100% security at all times.

 

Sensitive and private data exchange between MyAffluency.com and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. Our Website is also in compliance with PCI vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users.  

 

ALL ONLINE TRANSACTIONS ARE PROCESSED THROUGH A GATEWAY PROVIDER AND ARE NOT STORED OR PROCESSED ON OUR SERVERS.

 

 

We do not share your information

We will only disclose your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If we want to use it for any other purpose, we will obtain your prior written consent. If you decline to submit personal information to us, then we will unfortunately not be in a position to provide our Services to you.

h. Managing and facilitating the administrative and business operations of Affluency and complying with internal policies and procedures;

i. Complying with applicable anti-money laundering, tax evasion and anti-terrorist financing laws, regulations and rules;

l. Complying with any legal, governmental or regulatory requirements, codes of practice or guidelines of any relevant jurisdiction;

m. Complying with the requirements or directions of any competent regulatory authority;

o. Legal purposes (including but not limited to obtaining legal advice and dispute resolution); and

p. Any other purpose relating to any of the above.

 

Affluency may have also specifically notified you of any other purposes which Affluency collects, uses or discloses your Personal Data in relation to specific services or in your dealings with Affluency. By doing so, you agree and consent to Affluency collecting, using and disclosing your Personal Data for these additional purposes as well.

 

We use certain of your information in an aggregated form to compile statistical and demographical profiles for our business and marketing activities. We may disclose such information, provided that the information is in an aggregated form that is not capable of being used or interpreted in such a manner as to identify you.

 

 

Disclosing your information 

Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, Affluency may be required to disclose your Personal Data for the purposes listed above (where applicable), to the following third parties located in Singapore or overseas:

 

1. Affluency’s service providers involved in providing, managing or administering services provided to you;

 

2. Affluency’s professional advisors;

 

3. Relevant government regulators, statutory bodies or authorities and/or law enforcement agencies;

 

4. Your authorised representatives; or

 

5. Any other party to whom you authorise Affluency to disclose your Personal Data to.

 

In order to ensure that all our Users comply with the Policies, we may monitor your Personal Information to the extent that this may be required to determine compliance and/or to identify instances of non-compliance. To ensure that the security and integrity of our Services are safeguarded, we may monitor your Personal Information. This monitoring may include (without limitation) the filtering of incoming and outgoing electronic data messages to identify, limit and/or prevent the transmission of spam, viruses and/or unlawful, defamatory, obscene or otherwise undesirable material or content.

If you are a MyAffluency.com registered user and:

 

a. would like to obtain access to your Personal Data;

b. would like for your Personal Data to be corrected or updated; or

c. would like to withdraw your consent or limit the use of your Personal Data,

Please note that Affluency reserves the right to refuse your requests for any reasons permitted by law. Where permitted by law, you may ask that Affluency collect or delete any inaccurate information.

 

If you withdraw your consent to any or all use of your Personal Data, depending on the nature of your request, may result in Affluency not being in a position to communicate or correspond with you, to continue providing services to you, or to administer any order or relationship already in place.

 

 

Children’s Privacy and Parental Controls

We do not solicit any personal information from children. If you are not 18 or older, you are not authorized to use the Site. Parents should be aware that there are parental control tools available online that you can use to prevent your children from submitting information online without parental permission or from accessing material that is harmful to minors.

 

 

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

 

 

 

 

Deposit and Balance

Upon confirming an order, buyers are required to pay a 50% non-refundable “deposit” for our makers to start production, and afterwards a 50% “balance”. 

 

The deposit shall be paid by credit card, PayPal, Alipay or bank transfer upon order confirmation and shall be applied against the final purchase price. The Balance will be paid before shipment of the item(s) to process final delivery and fulfil the order.

 

 

Secure Payments

 

Affluency allows payments through a number of online and offline gateways in order to best suit your needs. 

 

 

Credit Cards

 

During the online ordering process, after selecting your preferred item(s) you will be direct to the checkout section and presented with your preferred method of payment.  We accept all major credit and debit cards through STRIPE, our secure payment gateway.

 

 

PayPal

PayPal allows you to make payments using a variety of methods including: PayPal balance, bank account, PayPal branded debit and credit cards, PayPal Credit, debit card, and credit card. With PayPal, your financial information is securely encrypted, so you can pay online with confidence. 

 

 

Alipay 支付宝
In order to best serve our valued customers, we also accept payments through Alipay, our third-party mobile and online payment platform allowing secure payment gateway dedicated to our valued Customers in China. 

 

 

Bank Transfer

 

We equally provide payment facility by bank transfer. When finalizing your order, simply check the relevant option in the checkout section. You will be guided through the process with all the needed details to fulfil your payment. Please note that when paying through, your order will be processed only when the amount is reflected into our bank account. This may take up to 3 business days, depending on your bank and location.

Refunds and Order Cancellation

Upon confirming an order, buyers are required to pay a 50% non-refundable “deposit” for our makers to start production, and afterward a 50% “balance”. The deposit shall be paid by credit card or bank transfer upon order confirmation, and shall be applied against the final purchase price. Balance will be paid before shipment of the item(s) to process final delivery and fulfil the order.

 

 

Because our items are either unique pieces, limited editions or made to order by third party suppliers, manufacturers and artisans, unfortunately Affluency cannot offer to cancel or refund the 50% deposit, or to replace or modify items once the final order is placed.

 

 

However, if for any reason you want to cancel your order before the item is delivered to you, we may be able to lift or refund you the 50% balance payment. This will be addressed by our Concierge team on a case-by-case basis. Please note, no product will be delivered to you and your cancellation decision is final and non reversible.

 

 

Returns

Affluency takes all professional measures to make sure your order is carefully packed, handled upon shipping and delivery, and to make sure your order specifications are exactly met by our makers. We enforce rigorous Quality Control (1) during manufacturing and production, (2) before the item is packed for shipment, (3) once your order is received in Singapore and ready for final delivery, (4) when the item is delivery at your place.

 

In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged or defective product as part of your order, or if it doesn’t match the original specifications, Affluency will be able to rectify or exchange the faulty product, or to refund you for the total amount of your purchase.

 

 

Upon order delivery and no further than 72 hours, please notify our Concierge team by email at concierge@myaffluency.com We will inspect the faulty items in situ and/or collect it back to our warehouse within 3 working days of your request.

 


Please note: (a) we will not refund/exchange or rectify a product that you have bought and received where, as per our Quality Control team inspection, the product has: become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear; misuse; using it in an abnormal way; or failure to take reasonable care. (b) we will not refund/exchange or rectify a product that after delivery has been damaged by misuse, negligence or intentionally. (c) Products must be returned unused and with the original labels and invoice.

 

When our Quality Control team accepts a refund/exchange or rectification, the timelines may vary from product to product. Should opt in for exchange of the item, standard manufacturing and delivery timelines will apply. Our Concierge will keep you informed at all times and coordinate with you at every step.

 

Shipment & Delivery

 

Free Delivery is available for all your orders within Singapore.

 

Affluency partners with delivery companies proficient in handling fine art logistics the world over. Our standard delivery method is by sea freight which is free of costs to our valued customers.

 

Should you need urgent delivery in Singapore, either by air or any other shipping method, our Concierge will support your requirements every step of the way. Extra charges for express shipment may apply.

 

 

Worldwide Delivery

We deliver worldwide and we equally provide bespoke and express shipment to best suit your needs. Affluency partners with delivery companies proficient in handling fine art logistics the world over. Our Concierge will support your requirements every step of the way.

 

To obtain a personalized shipping quote:

1. Proceed to checkout and complete your purchase. Shipping costs will be calculated after confirmation of your delivery address.

2. We will email you within 3 working days with a precise quotation for your acceptance.

3. If the shipping quote does not meet your expectations, you will not be charged and your order will be cancelled.

4. Customs duties and taxes may apply to international purchases, depending on your preferred delivery address.

 

You can also request a precise quote to our Concierge Team before completing your purchase. In each product’s page, you will find a “Request a Quote or Customization” button which will allow you to inquire about global shipment, special delivery needs or bespoke & customization.

 

 

Delivery Timelines

 

Our Delivery Timelines may vary from product to product.

 

All our pieces require careful packaging and shipping. Although a few items may be readily available in stock, our unique products are custom made, often by hand, in limited editions by master artisans and manufacturers specifically for you.  

 

Delivery times and/or estimates are shown on each product page. You can also find the relevant information on your checkout page. Our Concierge will make sure to keep you updated about the transit time and delivery of your purchase regularly.

 

Once an order is ready to be delivered to your place, our Concierge Team will schedule with you the best delivery date and time as per your agenda and availability. 

 

 

Force Majeure

While we ensure that your order is delivered on time, force majeure, unforeseen or beyond our control events sometimes cause a delay. In such a case, our Concierge team will keep you updated throughout and do our best to fulfil your delivery as per the agreed timelines. 

 

Affluency shall not be liable for any consequences or any loss suffered or expenses incurred (whether direct or indirect) due to the delay in the shipment/delivery of the items and no such delay shall entitle the customer to treat this agreement as being repudiated by Affluency or to any comparison.

White Glove Service

 

We fulfil your order free of extra charges or hidden costs. Our Concierge team will be in touch with you in order to arrange for the last mile delivery at your preferred date and time.

 

Most of our products do not require specialised assembly or installation besides unpacking and fitting into your place. In the event of bulky items or large orders, our Team will take extra measures to ensure you a great experience.

 

Site inspection
Large items such as Sofas, Dining Tables or fragile products like Chandeliers requires special care during transportation and final installation. A Concierge will contact you to inspect your home and to make sure there are no blockers or barriers to access your premise. 

 

Site protection
Affluency takes all professional measures to ensure that no damage is rendered to your home during any delivery and installation.

 

On-Site team
All workers on site are managed by Affluency, and your personal Concierge will be on site to supervise the installation.

 

Deep cleaning
After delivering and unpacking your products, our Team will take care of cleaning and removing debris, packaging and/or any extra item. You can Enjoy your new Design right away!

 

 

On-Site Installation

Affluency does not provide on-site installation, civil works, electrical works nor any architectural intervention/ alteration to your premise. Shall you need special services to fulfil your interior design project, our Concierge Team will be able to coordinate with your Interior Design firm/ Architecture partners. 

 

Although we will not be able to supervise or take the responsibility to manage third-parties contractors, our team of design experts’ aim is for you having the best design experience. Please contact our Concierge team to discuss any special need.
